1. Overview
This Returns Policy regulates the circumstances under which goods purchased from Ironcore Defense Group Pty Ltd (“Rhino Arms”, “we”, “our”, “us”) may be returned. It ensures compliance with South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000 (FCA).
2. Eligibility for Returns
- Returns are accepted only for defective, unsafe, or misrepresented products.
- “Change-of-mind” returns are not accepted for firearms, ammunition, powders, or primers.
- Accessories and non-restricted items may be considered for return if unused, sealed, and in original packaging.
3. Inspection & Verification
- Buyers are encouraged to inspect goods upon receipt and report any concerns immediately.
- Rhino Arms reserves the right to have products inspected by the manufacturer, distributor, or independent expert before authorising a return.
4. Defective Products (CPA Section 56)
- If a product is found to be defective within 7 days of delivery, it may be returned for repair, replacement, or refund in line with CPA provisions.
- Firearms and ammunition can only be returned if defective and only in compliance with FCA processes.
5. Non-Defective Products
- Accessories and non-restricted items may be returned within 7 days at the customer’s expense, provided they are unused, sealed, and in original packaging.
- A restocking/handling fee of up to 15% may apply.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
6. Return Procedure
- Customers must request a Return Authorisation via email to admin@auctionarmoury.co.za.
- Proof of purchase and full details of the defect/misrepresentation must be supplied.
- If approved, instructions for the safe return of the product will be provided.
7. Return Shipping & Fees
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item is defective or misrepresented.
- Returned firearms must be transported via licensed dealers in accordance with FCA requirements.
- Insurance is recommended for all return shipments.
8. Refunds & Replacements
- Refunds will be processed using the original payment method once the returned product is inspected and approved.
- Where possible, a replacement item may be offered instead of a refund.
9. Exclusions
- Ammunition, powders, primers, and any other consumables are not returnable due to safety and legal restrictions.
- Gift vouchers and loyalty credits cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
- Firearms may not be returned for buyer’s remorse.
10. Dispute Resolution
- In the event of a dispute, Rhino Arms may seek the opinion of an independent firearms expert or the manufacturer.
- Any unresolved disputes may be referred to arbitration in line with South African law.
11. Changes to Policy
- Rhino Arms reserves the right to amend this Returns Policy. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of changes.
